Twitter just got flooded by people congratulating their favourite stars on winning the 66th National Film Awards. Our Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, presented the award. The award function was held at Delhi. The aspirant actors who bagged the best actors awards were Vicky Kaushal for Uri: The Surgical Strike, Ayushmann Khurrana for Andhadhun and Keerthy Suresh for Mahanati. Padman which starred Akshay Kumar bagged the award for the best film. The actors deserved the award for their tremendous acting in the respective films. And India needs for films and actors like them.
Vicky Kaushal and Ayushman Khurrana were jointly awarded for Uri: The Surgical Strike and Andhadhun respectively. Both the actors expressed how honoured they were to receive the award. Akshay Kumar’s Padman received the best film on social issues award.

Again Ayushmann Khurrana Starrer Badhai Ho bagged the best popular film award. The film provided wholesome entertainment and had a great message for the audience.
The best film for Environment Conservation and Preservation was titled to a Marathi movie Paani.
The best choreography award went to the song Ghoomar of the movie Padmavat directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He also won the best music director award.

The best feature film went to a Gujarati movie Hellaro.
Actress Keerthy Suresh got the Best Actress Award for her role as Savitri in the film Mahanati.
We can never underestimate the contribution of Films to our lives. They provide us with entertainment, and we get to learn a great deal from them. They widen our perspective. But, it takes a huge team to execute a beautiful film, and they should be appreciated nonetheless.
