Netflix's Witcher : The next fantasy extravaganza?

Beasts and Witchcraft are the two elements to be proudly called fantasy these days and these key elements walk hand-in-hand with popularity unless you have a jaw dropping storyline.

Recently Netflix dropped it’s Witcher featuring Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra & Freya Allan as lead faces . It’s IMDb rating currently ruling at 9.2/10, on Rotten Tomatoes its whopping 89% fresh & its Metacritic score is 7.6/10.

Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s Fantasy extravaganza eight book that already transformed into video game & now marking its footprint on Netflix and hearts of audience.

Soon any fantasy series arrive it directly compared to Game of Thrones that wrapped this year. HBO’s Game of Thrones have set a benchmark in both fantasy genre & audacity to amaze the viewer with the ending of every episode and urge to wait for the next was of such an extent that to die for.

Witcher definitely marked it’s presence with promising story line & actors but cannot create that hype that was of GOT. Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, a mutant by origin & a monster hunter seems to be the show stealer with his performance. The 5 shows that commence the series are really important that revolves be around character building & their respective worlds. Critics are quite sure about it’s mass popularity as it holds a gripping rainbow of performance, action, thrill and magic with an aid of VFX. Twitteratis were pretty excited quite before it’s release with the casting of Henry..

It’s really interesting to see how story impact the audience and leave them spellbound with its reach to the mass audience.
