To promote quality engineers and engineering Northrop Grumman Corporation started a unique initiative, a new scholarship called “Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars Program” or simply “Northrop Grumman Scholarship”
Fellowship For Northrop Grumman Scholarship
World’s one of the largest weapon manufacturer Northrop Grumman Corp introduced its Scholarship program in which they used to provide USD 40 to USD 10,0000 scholarships on annual basis and on an average USD 2500 are spent on a student annually on their education.
Candidates who have academic excellence and brilliant imagination ability deserves a great economic boost which is provided by Northrop Group.
This scholarship is divided into 23 counties which is been distributed in Maryland.
These counties are

These funds are distributed and spent on various reforms and expenditures apart from tuition. These kind of scholarships are a good trendsetter to produce well trained candidates. Northrop is a big shot when it comes to armed & military services to government and other customers who are dealing with armed & weaponries.

Internship Programmes For Northrop Grumman
Northrop group do invite interns who are basically the teachers from Maryland under a program called TEAACH (Teachers and Engineers for Academic Achievement) Program .
These internships are totally paid and it includes a four day program of developing skills, Leadership, Technical aspects, Science, Math and Technical courses.
A whopping stipend of $ 500 is awarded to every teacher intern.
Northrop group is rooting the students the seed of engineering and problem solving at their tender age of learning.
These build their stem learning, aptitude solving, problem analysis, decision making habit and thus they find their interest in science and technology from their very start.
In May 2017 Northrop announced 24 winners of different category under annual scholar engineering program that are willing to provide USD 1,92,000 in college scholarships to higher school students hailed from Maryland who are interested to study in science, engineering & computer science.
Thus Northrop group use to help those high school seniors who are talented but can’t pursue higher education due to their own reasons as there are numerous students who are willing to study further yet then can’t due to economic-financial lacking.
Northrop help these students who are willing to see their career in engineering field and are brilliant in their academics.
Under the scholarship program student is entitled to attend an accredited college and this scholarship is bound to pay for his tuition, lab, library, books, lodging fees.
The selected winners are chosen by selected panel of employees working in Northrop group.
This group is entitled to choose the best out of all the candidates claiming the scholarships and those who are dedicated to engineering filed at somewhat excellence level.
Eligibility for Northrop Grumman Scholarship
- For this scholarship it is required to have a total Scholistic Aptitude Test (SAT) score of 1800 or American College Testing (ACT) score of 27 and a minimum accumulative of 3.5 Grade Point Average (GPA) and a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required must.
- A Candidate must be strictly a resident of Maryland
- A Graduate senior from a private high school of the state.
Northrop Grumman Foundation is committed to forefront the expansion and enhancing and diversify their program to pre high schools, high school to collegiate levels to promote various filed of engineering which are new and can uplift the future in their own ways.
In 2016 Northrop invested USD 19.2 Million on the groups are Air Force Association, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Patriot, VEX Robotics, Smart Electronics, Python etc.
The main motive not only preserve the engineering within the student but also improve their decision making skills thus ensuring their overall development including all the soft skills on which generally people invest particularly in coaching and form out the student still didn’t learned anything.
Northrop group not only training students but are training various high schools teachers and college professors of various engineering streams through their internship programs.
