When the whole nation is right at the boiling point, protesting against the CAB, CAA, and NRC, Delhi Police’s violent lathi charge and shootings on the Jamia Millia Islamia University made some of the Bollywood stars raise their voice. Some took it to twitter, whereas some were seen protesting side by side with the ordinary people at rallies. The Bollywood stars expressed solidarity and condemned the violent act of Delhi Police. They also expressed their opinions about CAB and NRC. Among these famous stars are Sushant Singh, Hritik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar, Alia Bhatt, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkumar Rao, Siddharth Malhotra and many more.
But, some actors were called out for various reasons.

Hrithik Roshan took it to twitter to express his heartfelt solidarity for the affected students of Jamia Millia Islamia University. But he was severely trolled as well when he stated India is the ‘youngest democracy’. As people appreciate his step, but the actor surely got his facts wrong.
As a parent and a citizen of india , I am deeply saddened by the unrest across various educational institutions of our country. I hope and pray for peace to return as soon as possible. Great teachers learn from their students. I salute the worlds youngest democracy.

Akshay Kumar ended up being trolled by social media when many users caught the actor has liked one of the posts of a person mocking the protest at Jamia Millia. The actor later apologized through a twitter post justifying that he was scrolling and the post got liked him by ‘mistake’.
Regarding the ‘like’ on the tweet of Jamia Milia students, it was by mistake. I was scrolling and accidentally it must have been pressed and when I realised I immediately unliked it as In no way do I support such acts.
